About Us

Areas we serve

We are based in Ongar and Braintree, covering most of Essex, with the majority of our work in Chelmsford.

How it started

G Bevan Electrical was established in 1989 by Graham when he decided to venture on his own. A small advert placed in the Thompson Local dramatically increased demand for his electrical services. In 2005 the company became Part P registered (certified legal requirement for homeowners and landlords). Reece joined Graham in 2010 and 3 years later in 2013 a partnership was formed between father and son which is still providing high quality electrical services from changing a light fitting to complete rewires, renovations and extensions.

About Reece

I began my apprenticeship in 2010 after leaving school. In 2012 I completed a level 3 city and guilds qualification in Electrotechnical  Technology. I am now the qualified supervisor and have the responsibility to certify all domestic and commercial work the business undertakes. In November of 2022 I obtained a level 3 in small scale solar photovoltaic systems.

Our work ethic

We will provide an outstanding service start to finish. We pride ourselves on being reliable and punctual, in fact we have never missed an agreed start date of a job. As you will see from our gallery we are skilled tradesmen that work to millimetre perfection anything less is simply not acceptable. When it comes to problems and faults we refuse to be beaten and have overcome all of them.
